WESTERN RAKU VASE

A Studio Pottery vase hand-crafted via the western-style raku method (a version of the traditional Japanese raku method that dates back to the 16th-Century) in which the pottery is removed from the kiln and placed into containers with combustible materials that produce its unique colours, textures, crackling and surface effects.
